Maintena Sync is a Planned Maintenance System (PMS) that manages ship components, tracks running hours, schedules recurring or one-time jobs, and keeps a complete history of maintenance activities—along with complementary modules for procurement, document management, and other essential ship operations.

The software works fully offline while at sea and synchronizes with the cloud when a connection is available, allowing both onboard crew and shore teams to share the same updated data.

Component & Job Tracking

  • Components are organized in a tree structure matching the vessel’s actual equipment hierarchy.

  • Jobs can be created manually or generated automatically based on running hours, date intervals, or one-time triggers.

  • Each completed job is stored with details of the assignee, date, and any attachments (images, work notes).

Offline First, Then Sync

  • All data is stored locally onboard in an encrypted SQL database.

  • When internet is available (e.g., in port), Maintena syncs changes securely with the shore server so both sides remain aligned.

Logbooks, Documents, More

  • Deck and Engine logbooks are designed based on field surveys from SEA vessels, ensuring familiar entry fields.

  • Document Manager keeps certificates and manuals with expiry reminders visible to both crew and office.

    • CPU: Intel i3 gen 5 (Tested) or equivalent and above
    • RAM: 4 GB (Tested)
    • Storage: ~120 MB for application, additional space for attachments.
  • Tested Devices:
    • HP ProDesk 400 G5 Mini (4 GB RAM), Lenovo ThinkCentre M720, ASUS VivoBook onboard laptop – stable
  • Maintena is tested and developed on older onboard PCs (Intel Gen 5), without requiring specialized hardware.
